#OOTD | Arabian Nights
Whether you're a Jade Princess or a Diamond in the Rough; these looks are as exotic as the Arabian tale they come from...
I knew I wanted to do two drastically different looks for this release, so I went way retro with Aladdin and more modern literal with Jasmine. Both, I can say, were extremely comfortable (minus the 1,000,000 degree weather we shot these looks in; thanks Florida) and I would totally wear these again! Enjoy!
A Jade Princess
Let's be honest, every girl wanted perfect hair and an outfit like Jasmine growing up. Well, I'm here to tell you Jasmine's perfect hair doesn't exist so let's not set ourselves us for failure, shall we? Disney, creating unrealistic hair expectations since 1938. I tried...and failed. BUT! Jasmine's outfit; we can get close to that!
I chose some super flowy wide legged pants to base the whole look off of. These pants are the freaking bomb dot com. I would say something else, but I try to keep it PC on here for everyone.
They're extremely lightweight, and have an elastic waist which is a gift to all visitors of Disney because we know how snacking goes in the parks.
The only negative thing I will say about the pants is they only have elastic in the very middle of the front side. So I would recommend sizing up! I wore smalls here and they were just a touch on the tight side so I wore them higher than I normally would. They're meant to be high waisted pants, but I wore them very high waisted. Also, keep in mind I have an abnormally long torso, which makes clothing fun to size sometimes.
The top I chose was a basic staple because the pants and the ears are the real showpieces. It's comfy, it's flowy and it was a neutral. Perfection.

The Diamond in the Rough
One of my favorite parts about Disneybounding is getting into your closet and finding the pieces you completely forgot about. That's the story with this vintage Audrey Hepburn style dress. I had bought it for Dapper Day 2 years ago as a backup and never wore it; well...say hey to Prince Ali!
This dress was a great cheap find on Amazon (let's be honest where else do I shop?) and it's made out of a spandex comfortable cotton material! One thing I will warn you against, it wasn't the most breathable thing ever to wear on this 1,000,000 degree Florida day. For Fall, Winter and early Spring though it would be perfect in FL. You could even go one further and add a yellowed patch to the skirt like his pants for a full Aladdin "Street Rat" vibe.
The accessories were literally the only thing I had to buy for this outfit which totaled $12! WIN!!!! (enter excited jazz hands here)
My shoes were an old purchase from Old Navy, but they are literally the most comfortable wedges ever. I can wear them all day in the parks with no problems at all!
